Project Summary
IBTCI currently holds a long-term contract to provide monitoring and evaluation and strategy support services to the USAID Mission in Somalia. We are seeking a Facilitator who will facilitate a series of stakeholder workshops to define obstacles to/opportunities for sustainable development in Somalia in support of the USAID/EA/Somalia Office strategy formulation process.
Period of Performance
The period of performance would be about 2 weeks and based in Nairobi, Kenya
The Facilitator will be responsible for the following activities:
- Facilitate a stakeholder workshop to define obstacles to/opportunities for sustainable development in Somalia.
- Draft a summary of the workshop, in coordination with the Senior Strategy Specialist, outlining the sources of fragility and resiliency in Somalia and specific challenges, priorities, and institutional strengths and weaknesses for USAID’s development and stabilization assistance in Somalia.
The Facilitator must have the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in facilitation of both large and small group meetings.
- Demonstrated experience successfully communicating ideas to diverse audiences and track record as an effective facilitator
- A Master’s degree.
The following experience is preferred:
- Understanding of USAID’s strategy process
